Husky Baseball loses to Raiders 2-10

The varsity baseball Huskies were dealt a big loss last Monday, April 13. The Huskies had a 2-10 loss against Loudoun County High School. The Tuscarora team had a 5-5, win-lose record before the loss.

“It was a really tough loss,” said senior Nick Desimone. “Having so many chances to gain a comeback and end up not getting a chance to execute our strategy was really frustrating.”

The Huskies, during the game, had a slow start at first, managing to hold back the Raiders in the first inning of the game.

The Raiders then went on the offensive in the second inning when they scored the first points of the game.

The Huskies attempted to come back in the final innings of the game but the Raiders’ offense was too overwhelming as they finished the game 2-10.
