As an emotionally exhausted person, I know from experience that sometimes life can be very difficult. There are days where the weight of the world gets to be too much, and being a person feels awful. There are things that get me through the day, though, and in the spirit of spreading joy I’d love to share them with you!
This little guy is one of them! This is a brand of stuffed animals called “Squishmallows.” They’re disgustingly cute, and amazingly soft. They come in different sets, spanning over a range of animals, foods, and seasonal plushies. The pricing of these plushies vary depending on size, smaller ones being sold at a starting price of around $5, and you can buy these from retailers like CVS, Walgreens, Five Below, Target, etc. The sheer joy I get whenever I hug one is literally priceless, though. I honestly find buying these super addictive, and they pander to a very specific need to hug cute things so hard they absorb into my flesh. I absolutely adore plushies, and these are my new favorite brand of plush companions. Their big, unblinking eyes and sweet smiles do nothing but bring me joy, and I plan on slowly amassing an army of them to take over the world (the raccoon one isn’t invited though. It’s unevenly proportioned and the color of purple disappearing glue. It exists SOLELY to gaslight me.) Squishmallows get the Xandrine Foxfire award for pure bliss. They spark so much joy, and they make being a person feel a whole lot better.
Anyways, that’s enough retail therapy for today.
